Our Coaches

Harry Hudson

Harry is a UEFA ‘B’ qualified football coach and a graduate from Southampton University with 2:1 honours in Sport Studies. He received a scholarship in recognition of his work in the community. Harry has six years’ coaching experience in a variety of settings.

During his gap year he was employed full-time by Merton SSP as a ‘Football Coach’ delivering PPA and after school clubs; he also coached the Merton Mini Games squad to a Gold medal at the London Youth Games.

Harry was employed by Fulham FC as a Head Coach on the Kickz project where he built positive relationships with challenging young people and created positive exit routes for many participants.

He also coaches at AFC Wimbledon. Harry is booked onto his level one Netball and Hockey courses to be completed by December 2011. Harry is a qualified ‘Community Sport Leader’ tutor.

Adam Knight

Adam is also a UEFA ‘B’ qualified football coach and a graduate from Hull University with a 2:2 honours in Sport Coaching and Performance.

Adam has been coaching for six years, delivering PPA cover and after school clubs within the borough of Sutton. He has coached participants with learning difficulties and physical disabilities and also has a passion for Goalkeeper coaching.

Adam worked as ‘Head Coach’ at Arsenal FC advance centre and for Elite Football taking squads to compete at international tournaments. Adam is a FA qualified ‘Racial Equality’ tutor and is due to complete his Rugby and Basketball level one coaching courses by the end of 2011.

James Fotheringham

James is working towards his level two coaching badge in football. James graduated from Southampton University in July 2011 with 2:1 honours in Sport Studies. He is also a qualifed level one tennis coach.

James was actively involved in the University Football Club and helped coach the 1st team in his time there. He has coached for Elite Football working with the U14 squad where they competed in the Gothia Youth Cup in Sweden.

James used to work for Coerver Coaching delivering after school clubs and holiday programs. James has coached in schools for several years and is currently completing his level one in cricket coaching.

Mark Hudson

Mark is a UEFA ‘B’ qualified coach who has completed his UEFA ‘A’ prep course. Mark has completed his FA Youth Award Module 3. He is in the process of being trained to become a Coach Educator for the FA.

Mark has vast experience in coaching football; coaching AFC Wimbledon U18s and U16s, Surrey County Representative Squad, Crystal Palace advanced centre, Carshalton Athletic and Croydon FC senior teams.

Mark is also the football Competition Director for the London Youth Games as well as delivering on the sports initiatives ‘MCC Spirit of Cricket’ and ‘Sweet Chariot Tour’. He is the PE and Sports Co-ordinator for Herne Hill School where he delivers a wide range of sports such as gymnastics, aerobics, cricket, tag rugby and netball. Mark has for a number of years coached football at Royal Russell School in Croydon, ages 11-18, male and female.
